Virtually nobody in the corporate media said boo about Sarah Palin appearing on the same Tea Party stage as birther nut Joseph Farah, and helping him legitimize his creepy crusade. Palin was given a total free ride. And I mean nobody.

My alarm clocks always seem to break at the critical moment. But here are five outrageous alarm clocks that will definitely get you up to trade those Hong Kong futures in the middle of the night. What usually happens to the markets on days when the TICK indicator starts off extremely weak .

One thing we didn't read on Sarah Palin's "telepalmter" this weekend - pick up an issue of Playgirl magazine. The former Alaskan governor's would-be son-in-law Levi Johnston is on the cover of the upcoming issue of Playgirl posing nude and leaving very little to the imagination, if any. Easily being the Palin family's worst media nightmare, Johnston goes in detail about his rocky relationship with the former first family of Alaska, and his new life as a dad to one-year-old Tripp, who he fathered with Palin's eldest daughter, Bristol.

Meghan McCain had some harsh words for Sarah Palin, Tom Tancredo, and the whole Tea Party movement on The View yesterday. McCain, who says she avoided the Tea Party convention because of "ideological differences," said Palin's double standard about the use of the word "retarded" is "exactly what is wrong with politics today," the Huffington Post reports. Palin demanded Rahm Emmanuel be fired for calling trouble-making Democrats "retarded," but when Rush Limbaugh used the same word apparently to refer to the same group, Palin said it was merely "satire."

We asked some of the people who gathered at the Redding Convention Center what they think about the former governor of Alaska and VP nominee. Helen Ecklund, 66, of Cottonwood: "She's refreshing." Shae Thompson, 16, of Redding: "She's faithful and wants to make this country a better place."

Yes, that could be our next President reading her palm. The surprising thing isn't that Robot Palin needs notes to get through her speech at the high-profile Tea Party Convention in Nashville. Every politician does, and most are savvy enough to utilize twentieth century technology such as teleprompters.

"Barack Obama had 150 days in the U.S. Senate where he was able to vote quite often present." Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin reprised a Republican talking point Saturday from the 2008 presidential campaign by criticizing President Barack Obama for his lack of executive experience. "I mean Barack Obama had 150 days in the U.S. Senate where he was able to vote quite often present, not have to make decisions, being one of many, not having to manage. … You have to make quick decisions in many respects, ...

Well, I'll tell you what, though- there is a difference given that the argument has shifted. Ever since the argument about Gitmo, for example, we've started to see a lot of folks on both sides of the aisle, by the way, who are saying- you know, given the fact that we've seen some of these guys return to Yemen and become terrorists again, maybe we should think twice about being too constitutional with these people. KAPLAN: You know, it was Bush who sent them back to Yemen.

What truly is stunning is how in recent years partisans will jump through all kinds of mental hoops to try and excuse things that people on their side do that they berated others on the other side for doing. You could say "mind-boggling" but now this is the norm. Outrage and ridicule is only directed at those who you seek to politically defeatm but you look the other way or play defense attorney if your own side does it.
