The U.S. Army said Friday it would open Sarah Palin's appearance on Fort Bragg to media, a reversal from earlier in the week when the military wanted the event closed out of fears it would prompt political grandstanding against President Barack Obama.
The military then proposed limited media coverage, but lifted that plan Friday.

Dean Madere, a self-described "grassroots candidate" for the 4th Congressional seat held by Democrat U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey, contends that the Republican Party has lost its way.
"We haven't been focusing on the right issues," declared the 40-year-old political newcomer, who believes he's got the right stuff to get the GOP back on track and win the Republican nomination to challenge Markey.
"We have to push forward our constitutional values — and make it clear that this country is a republic — not a democracy," said Madere, who officially launched his campaign on Wednesday.

If you're playing a TV news drinking game wherein you and your dumb little buddies have to do a shot every time someone posts fake footage or film for a story , you might want to think about switching to Tang.
Now MSNBC's Morning Meeting has been caught dipping their hand in the Photoshopping jar when they aired rather obvious fake photos of Sarah Palin while doing a diss-session on the former VP candidate and her never ending book tour.
Seriously, why is there this much coverage over one book?

Under threat of a lawsuit by The Fayetteville Observer, The Associated Press, ABC and Capitol Broadcasting Co., Fort Bragg on Friday lifted restrictions on press coverage of an appearance by Sarah Palin.
The former Alaska governor is scheduled to sign copies of her book "Going Rogue" on Monday at the North Post Exchange.
The lawsuit, which was minutes away from being filed in federal court, asked for a temporary restraining order that would prohibit Fort Bragg from denying media less access to the event than that provided to the general public.

As JWF explains, one of the women quoted (of course!) by AP seems to be an Obama fan.
In the supposedly angry crowd, you hear only one woman droning on "Sign our books" with the exact cadence of "O-ba-ma," and one heckling male.
Based on two likely lefty disruptors, the left wants to call everyone else in the crowd "angry."

SHE THROWS JOHN MCAIN UNDER THE BUS AFTER HE PUT HER IN THE SPOT LIGHT AND MADE HER FAMOUS.SHE BLAMES EVERY ONE ELSE FOR HER PROBLEMS. AND THIS IS THE BEST THE GOP HAS TO OFFER? SHE DID'NT FINNISH HER JOB AS GOVERNOR! SHE COULD'NT WRITE HER OWN BOOK! AND SHE CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IRAN AND IRAQ! Please,I think that most americans and even Mrs.Palin, knows that she is not Presidential material but someone with exceptional political ambitions. Mrs.Palin was thrown the political limelight and seized upon the opportunity to appease the masses uneducated and racist whites who would rather have anybody hold the office of the President than a black man. Now,she is seizing those same opportunities, only this time,to ensure her financial well being.

Palin would not make a good President! She doesn't have the knowledge it takes to hold the job as the leader of the USA. She's a flim flam expert but that's sooo far from what it takes to run this country.

I am left wondering how someone was able to garner over a million dollars in advanced payment on a nation wide tour for a book she didn’t write, and those about whom she writes, state there is no substance to her “story”. In fact, fellow Republicans called it a “pack of lies”. I realize the audience for this book are disenfranchised white, unread, religious zealots, but who exactly is paying for this “tour”?

The "damsel in distress" routine will only get you so far Sarah. I am already tried of hearing about your problems. I personally would rather look at Levi Johnson!! BTW, did you see Palin interviewed by Barbara Walters? Sarah is sooo clueless about our economy. I rate Sarah a 1, from a scale of 1-10. WHAT do you read? Sarah?

Hey Sarha, the picture of you isnt sexist? Its sexy i wish the people or women i know looked that good. WOW

Re-play Palin's debate with Joe Biden. Palin was certainly poised and firm on her position, and the Dems said she tied. I think that was a compliment. Who can call her stupid after that debate? Joe Biden and Barney Frank certainly show that people with flaws can serve in the government.

OMG I sure hope Oprah got the message today. Sarah showed her grace and professionalism 100% over Oprah. I hope she continues to be a major part of the political arena and give them "good ole boys" a run for their money. You go Miss Sarah, you sure have my vote.

With so many issues happening in our country right now gives us a perfect opportunity to follow her stand on this issues and keep herself in the limelight of those decisions. Getting a better understanding of her and what her convictions are will answer any doubts we may have of her gerth.
